Expectations and Rules

Assessment of Choir:

Weekly assignment submissions online; this can include submitting videos of sight singing, writing short guided compositions, part testing, analyzing pieces, etc.

Pulling students out in quartets to sing through a short part testing excerpt

Exit ticket self-assessments - students leave by filling out a short self-reflective form about their performance, participation/behavior, knowledge and comprehension of skills, etc

Students are expected to come into class ready to learn. Students can discuss things like breaks, and personal relationships within choirs during the first week of the semester.

Violence and Bullying are not tolerated and are cause for immediate disciplinary action and potential expulsion or suspension from ensembles.
